Sara Frazier
Veterinarian
Dr. Sara Frazier grew up in West Virginia and her love for animals was apparent from the beginning. In photos as a child, you would often find her cuddling dogs and cats (sometimes against their will!). She began working for a local veterinary hospital in middle school which solidified her commitment to the profession. She attended Michigan State University obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in 1998 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. After graduation, she moved to North Carolina to be near her family and begin her career. Since that time, she has worked for small animal practices in central NC before joining the Armadale Animal Hospital family in October 2023. She is passionate about primary care and furthering the human-animal bond by partnering with her clients to participate in their pet's care for enhanced quality of life.
Outside of her veterinary life, Dr. Frazier enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling (especially to the NC mountains to hike), listening to podcasts, and reading. She has two fur-babies; a 14-year-old gray tabby kitty named Bug and a 3-year-old Blue Lacy dog named Colt.
